URUGUAY: Orsi confirms cabinet
Uruguay’s president-elect Yamandú Orsi has named his cabinet ahead of taking office on 1 March 2025. Orsi performed a delicate balancing act to keep the many parties within the left-wing coalition Frente Amplio (FA) happy, while also making several technocratic appointments and ensuring a strong, if not equal, female presence.
