PERU | Mining GDP up. Peru’s mining GDP increased by 2% in the first 11 months of 2024 compared with the same period in 2023, the Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía (SNMPE) reported on 20 January. Mining investment over the same period, however, increased by just 0.4% to US$4.18bn.
