MEXICO: Proposed US tax on remittances causes concern
US President Donald Trump’s proposal to impose a 3.5% tax on remittances would cost the Mexican economy more than US$2.6bn per year, according to the Center for Global Development (CGD), a think tank with offices in Washington and London.
