PANAMA: Big plans for Panama Canal
The administrator of the Panama Canal, Ricaurte Vásquez, presented the strategic plan of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) for the next 10 years on 16 September. During his presentation, ‘Panama Canal: Vision for the future’, Vásquez said the main focus would be on ensuring adequate water supplies after the drought of 2023-2024 and safeguarding the waterway’s long-term sustainability.
