In brief: Cuba’s inflation falls
*Cuba’s national statistics office (Onei) has released new figures showing that monthly inflation in December was 0.88%, bringing the annual rate to 14.07%. This compares with monthly inflation of 1.01% in November, when the annual rate was 14.95%. The country closed 2024 with an inflation rate of 24.88%.
