PANAMA: China warns over ports ruling as arbitration proceedings filed
FeaturedOn 3 February Panama Ports Company (PPC), a subsidiary of Hong Kong-headquartered CK Hutchison Holdings, began arbitration proceedings against Panama over a recent supreme court (CSJ) ruling striking down its contract for two ports, Cristóbal and Balboa, on the Panama Canal as China warned Panama of “heavy prices” to pay.
