Massive demonstrations, attracting hundreds of thousands of participants to Argentina’s main cities, marked the 50^th anniversary of the 1976 military coup and the subsequent dictatorship. The battle for the “historical memory” of those events continues, however, with the far-right government of President Javier Milei accusing the left of bias.
