COLOMBIA: Roa suspended as Ecopetrol chief executive
Ricardo Roa, the chief executive of Colombia’s state-owned oil and gas major Ecopetrol, has been suspended amid allegations of influence-peddling: his future and that of the company is unlikely to be resolved until this year’s presidential elections are completed (there will likely be two voting rounds on 31 May and 21 June).
