BRAZIL | Retail sales decline in monthly terms. The national statistics institute (Ibge) reported on 16 June that the country’s retail sales in April decreased by 1.5% compared with March. Meanwhile, the monthly sales volume in April this year was up 1% compared with the same month in 2025, and the accumulated sales volume in the 12 months through April was up 1.5% on the preceding 12-month period.
