ECUADOR: Bad blood over constitutional recall
On 29 June the minister for government in Ecuador’s right-wing administration of President Daniel Noboa dismissed the attempt to shorten his term in office through convening a recall referendum. Nataly Morillo described the campaign, known as Revoca EC, as the “latest absurdity of the opposition”.
