CHILE: Tornado and storms batter central regions again as El Niño intensifies
On 27 October Chile’s President José Antonio Kast wrote on social media that the country was experiencing “extreme weather that isn’t letting up,” describing it as “completely abnormal”, and said emergency crews had been deployed to affected areas.
