HAITI/EL SALVADOR: Bukele defends troop deployment
On 31 October El Salvador’s authoritarian President Nayib Bukele rejected claims by a Haitian NGO that Salvadorean troops sent over to rescue four missing Salvadorean members of the United Nations (UN)-authorised Gang Suppression Force (GSF) were involved in the bombing of civilians in Haiti.
