BOLIVIA: Rebellious Santa Cruz to declare autonomy
On Friday 28 January, the eastern department of Santa Cruz plans to announce the formation, in defiance of the constitution, of an autonomous regional government. This might be accompanied by a similar move in the southern department of Tarija, which has called a civic assembly for that day as well.
