Haiti: two leading ex-soldiers killed in shootouts
Two leaders of the armed gangs of former soldiers, Remissainthe Ravix and René Jean Anthony, were killed in shootouts with combined forces of the national and UN police over the past weekend. The interim government had offered rewards for both of them, who were wanted for the murder of several police officers [WR-05-13].
