CHILE: Unemployment falls; industry, copper on rise
The level of unemployment in Chile fell to 7.4% in the last quarter of 2003 - the lowest level for five years. According to data released yesterday by the state statistics department INE, there are 453,060 unemployed in Chile out of a workforce of 6.13bn.
