Argentina will have to decide today whether to meet a US$3.15bn debt payment to the IMF or fall into default with the multilateral. There now seems no chance that the Fund will approve its second review of Argentina's loan deal, due to the continuing uncertainty over the government's proposals for dealing with its US$88bn defaulted commercial debt.
