VENEZUELA: Furious reaction to Colombian resolution
The Venezuelan foreign minister, Jesús Pérez, dismissed the resolution by the senate in Colombia that Venezuela should immediately call a recall referendum on President Hugo Chavez as an insultingly gross interference in Venezuelan affairs. The Venezuelan national assembly, dominated by Chavistas, has tabled a debate on the Colombian resolution for today.
