CUBA: UN resolution passed by a single vote
The United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva passed the US-backed resolution condemning Cuba for human rights violations yesterday. However, with 10 abstentions, 22 votes in favour of the proposal and 21 against, the situation was heated.
