ARGENTINA: Government gets tough with critics
The government of President Néstor Kirchner is running out of patience with its critics. One of the president's top ministers, Julio de Vido, the planning minister, is currently attempting to have an outspoken opposition leader, Elisa Carrió jailed for libel. She called De Vido the president's bagman.
