COLOMBIA: Government considers reducing AUC haven
The government's peace commissioner, Luis Carlos Restrepo, floated the idea on 20 May of reducing the area designated for the demobilisation of the Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC). The original area is 368 square kilometres in the north of the country, around Monetería.
