PERU: Montesinos given 15 years for media bribery
Development: Former president Alberto Fujimori's intelligence
chief, Vladimiro Montesinos, was sentenced to 15 years in prison on 28 June for
the multi-million dollar bribery of domestic media barons to support Fujimori's
re-election bid in 2000.
