PARAGUAY: Warrant ordered for Stroessner
Development: A Paraguayan judge, Gustavo Santander, has
issued an arrest warrant for the former dictator, Alfredo Stroessner, for his
role in the disappearance of three Paraguayans who had fled to Argentina.
Stroessner, now 91, who ruled Paraguay from 1954 to 1989, currently lives in
exile in Brazil.
