BOLIVIA: Congress decides to prosecute Goni and his cabinet
Development: Early this morning (14 October), the Bolivian congress voted to prosecute a former president, Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada, and his whole cabinet for their role in the use of the army to deal with protests last year. At least 91 people were killed in two separate bouts of violence and on 17 October 2003 Sanchez de Lozada was forced to flee into exile in the US.
