MEXICO: Pemex pushes for liberalisation
Development: Luis Ramírez Corzo, the director of the state-owned oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), suggested on 16 December that foreign oil companies should be allowed to bid for oil exploration contracts.
