NICARAGUA: PLC issues statement calling for Alemán's release
Development: On 23 August 40 of the 43 legislators belonging to the Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC) issued a statement calling for the release of the party's leader, Arnoldo Alemán, in order to end the institutional crisis in Nicaragua.
