Spying confirmed in Ecuador
Development: On 12 May Ecuadorean defence minister Javier Ponce admitted that an unauthorized five-day spying operation by military intelligence on constituent assembly members did take place early last December. In the same press conference Ponce also announced that the intelligence unit had been dissolved and an investigation launched.
