Chile's Piñera slumps in the polls
Development: On 1 April the local press in Chile published a poll which showed the presumptive presidential candidate for the righting opposition Alianza pro Chile, Sebastián Piñera, tying with the former president Eduardo Frei (1994-2000)of the ruling Concertación, ahead of the December elections.
