Argentina-UK row over sovereignty claims
Development: On 11 May the United Kingdom submitted a claim to a United Nations (UN) commission to extend its rights over an extensive tract of South Atlantic seabed around the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, an area of around 1.2m km sq.
