Uruguay on course for second round
Development: On 12 October a poll published two weeks before national elections on 25 October put the presidential candidate for the ruling Frente Amplio (FA), José Mujica, on 44% support, to 31% for the main opposition Partido Nacional (Blancos) candidate, Luis Alberto Lacalle. The second opposition candidate, Pedro Bordaberry, of the Partido Colorado trails on 12%.
