Development: On 9 September, a new study noted that the price of the basic food basket in Venezuela had risen almost 47% over the past year to reach BF2,588.61 a month(approx US$602, on BF4.3/US$), over twice the national minimum monthly wage of BF1,223.89 (US$284).
