Colombia to declassify DAS files
Development: On 13 September, Colombia's interior and justice minister, Germán Vargas Lleras, proposed declassifying intelligence documents produced by the Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (DAS), especially those related to the 'chuzadas' scandal, centred on the illegal monitoring of supreme justice court (CSJ) magistrates, politicians, NGO workers, human rights advocates, journalists and trade unionists.
