Bolivia: US ambassador in Bolivia, Philip Goldberg said that the accusation by President Evo Morales regarding supposed US interference in national electoral court (CNE) decisions "complicated" relations between both countries. Morales had blamed the US for influencing the CNE in its decision not to recognise his political party when he sought to register for the elections. Goldberg denied any US influence.
