Guatemalan court rules for Caballeros
Development: On 16 August Guatemala’s supreme justice court (CSJ) upheld an appeal by Harold Caballeros, the presidential candidate for the conservative Visión con Valores (Viva) and its left-wing ally Encuentro por Guatemala, against a supreme electoral court (TSE) decision to disqualify him from the 11 September presidential race.
