Gov’t-cocalero tensions in Bolivia
Development: On 8 January some 400 coca producers (cocaleros) in La Asunta, a municipality in the Yungas (La Paz region), Bolivia's traditional coca growing area, ejected members of the Fuerza de Tarea Conjunta (FTC), the joint task force responsible for coca eradication.
