Region unites to condemn polemical EU directive on immigration
It is a noteworthy occurrence when Latin American governments speak with one voice. A directive approved by the European parliament on the return of illegal immigrants elicited such a response: a unanimous and emphatic rejection from governments of different political hues across the region.
