PANAMA: Gunrunning conduit still live
Colombian authorities are keen to obtain details about Panama's third discovery of armaments presumably destined for export to one of Colombia's illegal armed organisations. The cache, seized last week, included 34 AK-47s, 55 boxes of ammunition and three grenade launchers. This made it the smallest this year, but proof enough that Panama continues to be a live conduit for gunrunning in the region.
