MEXICO: Ambassador leaves, slamming the door
Outspoken ambassador Adolfo Aguilar Zínser of `backyard' notoriety [WR-03-45] did, after all, get his marching orders. Perhaps intending some sort of face-saving exercise, foreign minister Luis Ernesto Derbez announced that Aguilar would cease to be Mexico's ambassador to the UN on 1 January.
