The biggest stockbroker in Colombia faced a liquidity crisis in November that forced its takeover by the financial regulator/superintendence (SF). A week later, the regulatory announced Interbolsa’s liquidation. An intricate and ethically questionable series of practices also came to light, prompting several criminal investigations.
