PERU | Camisea royalties. On 10 June the Camisea gas consortium, comprised of six foreign firms (Spain’s Repsol, Argentina’s Pluspetrol and Tecpetrol, the US’s Hunt Oil, South Korea’s SK Energy, and Algeria’s Sonatrach) that operates the vast Camisea gas fields in central Peru, revealed that in the first five months of the year the Peruvian State received US$582.9m in royalties from the sale of natural gas.
