PARAGUAY | Looking for Spanish investment. On 24 June Paraguay’s President-Elect Horacio Cartes held meetings in Madrid with Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and King Juan Carlos in which he presented a series of investment projects that his future government is hoping to conduct with the help of foreign investors. The meeting was part of Cartes’ tour of Spain as he prepares to assume office on 15 August.
