REGION | Iglesias warns of regional fragmentation. Various Latin American experts are warning of the pitfalls of having numerous regional economic integration projects operating at the same time. On 17 November, a new book was presented by the institute for Latin American studies at the University of Alcalá (IELAT) entitled ‘Latin America: Society, Economics and Security in a Global World’, which focuses on the issue of regional economic fragmentation.
