Venezuela’s Maduro lifts minimum wage 10% to combat “criminal inflation”
Development: On 6 January Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro announced a 10% increase in the minimum urban wage, also applicable to urban pensions, and gave notice of a new ‘organic law for the economic ordering’ of the country.
