MEXICO: Calderón at bay
President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, never a natural media performer, is becoming querulous and beleaguered as his power begins to ebb. So far congress, now controlled by the opposition Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI), has been dismissive rather than vindictive, but this attitude may change if Calderón does not recover some political authority and momentum.
