Peña Nieto boosts ties with Canada’s new leader
Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto took advantage of his trip to attend the ‘G-20’ summit this month to hold a meeting with Canada’s newly-elected prime minister, Justin Trudeau. With Trudeau confirming that his government will eliminate current visa requirements for Mexican nationals visiting Canada, this ensured that relations between the two leaders got off to a positive start.
