Chile’s military embroiled in tax fraud scandal
Development: On 13 January Chile’s tax authorities (SII) filed a criminal complaint against (Ret.) army Colonel Clovis Montero and Corporal Juan Cruz Valverde for alleged tax fraud to the tune of some Ch$153m (US$210,000).
