PARAGUAY | Fiscal deficit creeps up. On 15 April Paraguay’s finance ministry released its latest financial figures, which showed that the central government’s fiscal deficit stood at 0.8% of GDP (or US$296m) in the first quarter of the year, and 3.1% of GDP on an annual basis.
