ARGENTINA: Large cash seizures puzzle authorities
In recent months Argentine police have seized millions of Argentine pesos and thousands of US dollars in cash, concealed inside trucks transporting goods through provinces bordering Paraguay. This is a new development in Argentina’s security landscape, raising questions about the origin and destination of the money, as well as the activity of criminal organisations.
