Weekly Report - 12 November 2020 (WR-20-45)

After weeks of dealing with the public health emergency produced by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the campaigning leading up to the historic constitutional referendum, and the ongoing social protests against inequality, Chile’s President Sebastián Piñera attempted to return to normal activities this week. Piñera embarked on a tour of southern Chile to oversee various matters and try to advance his domestic political agenda. But with Piñera entering the final year of his term the prospects of making any significant progress on his agenda look dim.
