MEXICO | Biggest-ever cannabis seizure. On 18 October, on the outskirts of Tijuana, Baja California, a military unit intercepted a convoy found to be carrying 30 tonnes of cannabis packed and ready for distribution. Interrogation of those arrested there led to a ranch where another 70-plus tonnes were found, and then to two houses with an estimated 30t, all ready for shipping.
