MEXICO: Puzzling attack on Oaxaca governor
Mexico's political milieu has been left puzzling over an ambush by a number of gunmen on the governor of Oaxaca, José Murat, of the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI). Nobody has stepped forward to claim responsibility, and the opposition alliance in Oaxaca has been openly suggesting that the incident might have been staged by Murat himself.
